Universal tool for surfaces, corners and edges
The PL 31 B abrasive roll with a paper backing (B paper) is recommended for various purposes, for example for use

in orbital sanders for sanding larger surfaces,
for manual sanding on a block of small surfaces and
as sandpaper for sanding corners, edges and rounded surfaces.

This abrasive roll tool is universally applicable. You can easily tear off the required size of tape according to the intended application.

Semi-open coating for perfect results
The semi-open coating ensures optimum dust removal from the surface. At the same time, it enables excellent sanding performance with moderate sanding allowances. This technology is particularly suitable for sanding hardwoods, paints, varnishes and fillers. Depending on the selected grit, the PL 31 B roller produces coarsely or very finely sanded surfaces. While the coarse grit is mainly suitable for levelling surfaces and breaking edges, the fine grit – from 220 – is used for finishing. In order to increase the sanding efficiency and achieve a perfect result, it is recommended to sand in several stages. First, sand with a coarse grit. Then reduce the grit until the desired effect is achieved.

Hard, flexible and effective – electrocorundum abrasive material
Electrocorundum is a popular abrasive material used in the PL 31 B abrasive rolls from Klingspor. Due to the high hardness of this mineral, it is used, for example, in abrasive papers and cutting discs. In the PL 31 B roll, the corundum grain is attached to the B paper with glue.
